The Naphtha Hydrotreater (NHT) Unit removes sulfur, nitrogen, oxygen, and metal impurities from naphtha using hydrogen under high temperature and pressure. This process:
✔ Protects the catalyst in the reformer unit (since sulfur poisons reforming catalysts).
✔ Reduces emissions of SO₂ during combustion.
✔ Improves fuel quality by reducing gum-forming compounds.
